Why should voters elect you?

"I bring a record of leadership in service to working people. I take no corporate contributions. I will invest in the people of Ward 4."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"Public education is the most urgent problem because it impacts personal achievement, economic development and public safety. The per-pupil funding formula used to fund student education and facilities maintenance treats students like manufacturing-plant products. This funding formula must be replaced because it forces elimination of programs and necessary maintenance based on the number of students in a public school rather than the educational needs of the students within the school. We must adopt a formula that provides every student a challenging curriculum (science, arts, vocational education, physical education) rather than promoting the creation of new schools."
