What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"Our failure to provide quality public education is tragic; meanwhile, we're fighting over who wears the captain's hat on the sinking ship that is DCPS. Instead we need to focus on improving academic performance in the classroom. We should be hiring qualified principals and good teachers and giving them both performance incentive pay increases based on effective school management and student learning achievement. Teachers also need to successfully complete certification, and greater opportunities to complete professional development and mentoring programs."
