Why should voters elect you?
"I have a record of accomplishments and being accessible to residents. I want to continue being an advocate for neighborhood quality-of-life issues."
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"The most urgent problem facing Rockville continues to be the very negative impact of overdevelopment in the region, and in particular the growing traffic congestion resulting from this. The adverse effects of too much traffic are felt in the time it takes people to commute to work, the safety of pedestrians and cyclists and the quality of our air. The Metro system should be extended northward from Shady Grove, and we need effective car pooling and public transportation alternatives. Better regional planning for future transportation and development is a must."
