Why should voters elect you?
"The sum of my experience (14 years councilman) plus my experiences (e.g., 12 years Human Rights Commission). I understand the position and how to serve."
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"The total zoning ordinance rewrite currently being drafted by a citizen-driven task force (RORZOR). It has not been done in over 30 years, and it is the most pervasive issue in our city today. Our independent zoning authority from state mandate is sovereignty that sets us apart from other urban districts. Our independent zoning authority lets us determine exactly what can be built, where and when, within our city limits. Zoning is the umbrella issue under which all of our problems and solutions reside. Whatever gets developed or redeveloped in our city must comport with these self-determined rules."
