Why should voters elect you?

"Rockville needs my voice on the council to ensure we aren't blindsided by declining oil production. I have a strong record of service and leadership.

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"Global oil production will soon enter decline, and we aren't ready. Global oil discoveries peaked in 1964, and we have been burning more than we discover since 1980. America's production has been falling since 1970. Communities that anticipate and prepare for this world-changing event will fare better than those that are blindsided by it. We need better transit, not a highway interchange behind the senior center. We need more community gardens, better pedestrian safety, less mansionization and energy upgrades for low-income homes. We need a community planning effort so that we face declining energy with stronger community."
