What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"I am running for office because I want to improve public safety and ensure that police officers in Gaithersburg are well compensated for the important work they do. As a volunteer with the police chief's advisory committee, I have been appalled that so many talented officers leave the force because the pay is better in surrounding jurisdictions. The men and women who serve our city deserve more. I also want to ensure that the city government responds to all residents, particularly the poor. I am committed to supporting the expansion of health-care and child-care services for all families."
