Why should voters elect you?
"Strongly committed to constituents' needs. Have successfully lobbied for 20 years county, state and federal officials nationally to promote changes for women, children and families."
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"The most urgent issue for our city and District 2 is development exceeding the capabilities of our infrastructure. We need to promote a stronger and more viable tax base in order to have commensurate services, including police, fire/EMS, health, transportation and other specialized constituent services demanded by a growing and diverse city. We must revitalize our existing under-utilized and developing commercial centers to reduce the excessive tax burden for existing and proposed residential development. Closer liaison and early dialogue with the developers for the type and character of development desired in the city would reduce the usual adversarial process."
