Why should voters elect you?

"I bring experienced and effective leadership that has produced a solid economic foundation, and I have delivered results such as the new Bowie Police Department."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"Growth and development continue to drive most issues in the city. While I continue to work for greater local control of these issues, the county continues to approve development that exceeds supportive infrastructure. Locally, crime and our general sense of security are a significant concern, but they are now being more effectively addressed by a new Bowie Police Department that is actively engaged with the community and with other law enforcement agencies to address these matters. I led the effort to develop a city police department and am the only mayoral candidate that supported that effort."
