As a lifelong Bowie resident with extensive public policy experience, I will fight for all to make Bowie the best city in Maryland.
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
From prenatal care throughout one's life, nothing is more important than accessible, affordable and quality health care. Therefore, at this time with the threatened closure or bankruptcy of our community health system, it is critical that Bowie play a leadership role in preserving our local Bowie Health Center and community hospital. Bowie cannot remain silent during the contentious discussion. Our community has many seniors and families who need access to quality health care. As a nurse, mother of young children and experienced health-care attorney, I will be a champion for the Bowie Health Center.
