Why should voters elect you?

"To help reduce annexation, crime, traffic, speeding on our streets, maintain green space, restrain developers' influence on the city and save our emergency health center."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"Bowie is growing rapidly and it especially affects my district, which is surrounded by Route 197, Route 450 and U.S. Route 301. The increasing population and traffic of areas surrounding Bowie are already causing many outside the city to use local residential roads as shortcuts, making our streets more dangerous for children and adults. Add to that the large planned local developments that will add thousands of cars to our already increasingly dangerous roads, and you have a recipe for environmental degradation, denser population, traffic gridlock and higher crime. This is one interrelated, urgent issue."
