"I have shown a commitment to bettering our community. I want to show my children the importance of supporting and contributing to the community."
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"Two main issues: The first is public safety. We are having a lot of problems with juvenile crime. I am trying to give the new police department 100 percent of my support to try to control this issue. The second is the revitalization of Old Town Bowie and some of the retail shopping centers in District 1. These areas have lost some foot traffic that tends to invite crime."
