Why should voters elect you?
I will work relentlessly on issues critical to our community's well-being, including safe neighborhoods, fair county taxation, community-driven development, effective city government and environmental leadership.
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
Citizens in Takoma Park pay roughly 50 percent more property tax than their neighbors in Silver Spring. The vast majority of this tax differential is a result of Montgomery County not rebating Takoma Park, as it is required to do by state law, for the services it is providing instead of the county. Resolving this issue is of the utmost importance. It will enable Takoma Park to preserve affordability for homeowners and renters, and to invest in the community now and for the future.
