Why should voters elect you?

For 14 years, my dedication and leadership abilities have benefited the entire city. Greenbelt's residents need that experience to meet present and future challenges.

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

Efforts must continue to resolve budget issues while maintaining efficient services, equitable to all city neighborhoods, and a quality of life we taxpayers expect, deserve and currently enjoy. The next council must find ways to correct long-term budget weaknesses while dealing with continually rising costs to provide services. Current programs and expenditures, as well as future proposals, must be carefully evaluated to determine if they meet our citizens' expressed needs and are being managed effectively and sustainably. Well-thought-out, balanced decisions and resolute action are required, with citizen input from all areas of our city a must.
