Why should voters elect you?
My education and extensive background in local government issues and in conflict resolution make me the best choice to replace our retiring District 2 representative.
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
The most urgent issue facing Bowie is the public's general health, welfare and safety. This requires that the council focus on: the continued development of a community-oriented police force and adequate public safety facilities, the replacement of aging infrastructure, traffic management and pedestrian safety, the development of transportation alternatives for commuters and the continued development of the local job center, the preservation of parks and increased recreational facilities, sound environmental polices, the preservation and expansion of local emergency and other medical facilities, uninterrupted utility service with affordable prices, adequate workforce and senior home-owning opportunities and commercial property code enforcement.
