Why should voters elect you?
"I have lived in College Park for 30 years, am civically active, have intimate knowledge of local issues, am enthusiastic and would enjoy council work."
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"The most urgent issue is growth, mainly development along Route 1. Done well, growth would increase our taxable base, aid economic growth, reduce upwards pressure on property tax, enhance Route 1's aesthetics and improve our long-term viability. Poorly handled growth would worsen traffic, increase the transient nature of much of the city's housing (rental), increase demand for city services without a revenue increase, make Route 1 an unpleasant place to shop and place a burden upon the citizens. Growth in other areas could change our neighborhoods. I would do all in my power to ensure smart, friendly, productive growth."
