Why should voters elect you?
"My experience as a congressional chief of staff and with the American Red Cross provides me with experience in working with people to help people."
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"I believe that transportation is of one of the biggest needs facing this city. Bowie needs a transportation system that interconnects its citizens without paying higher property taxes. The very small city of Langley Park is set to receive a $330,000 federal appropriation for the construction of a large transit center, and other cities are receiving the same. The city of Bowie, with creative and bold leadership, could request more money and receive it for an interconnecting bus system through a federal appropriated earmark, and I am ready and uniquely qualified to spearhead that effort."
