Why should voters elect you?

"Voters need me, a council member who champions their interests, embraces fiscal restraint and takes action after comprehensive study and considering quality of life impacts."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"Zoning code revisions. In 2008, the citizens of Rockville will be given an opportunity to scrutinize a revision of the city's zoning codes. The current codes are inadequate for dealing with the increased pressures on our city toward urbanization. The revisions are dramatic and impact all regulations, restrictions and uses for residential, commercial, public and/or industrial property throughout the city. Individual homeowners, in particular, must carefully scrutinize these changes to be sure that they maintain their rights to alter their homes, and to make decisions about what kinds of development will be permitted adjacent to or in their neighborhoods."
