Why should voters elect you?

I have the knowledge and experience to serve Ward 5, whether the issue is the environment, tax duplication, traffic, safety, youths or the hospital.

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

I believe the residents of Ward 5 are most concerned about the quality of all aspects of their community. They want a clean environment, especially Sligo Creek, responsive city government with reduced taxes, improvements to the development at Takoma Metro station, safe neighborhoods, more programs for our youths, less traffic and better bus service. With Washington Adventist Hospital planning to move, residents want a say in the process and the results since what remains behind and traffic concerns are crucial issues. In short, they want a city they can be proud of, with its diversity, activism and progressive spirit supported.
