Why should voters elect you?
"I will be an independent voice for Greenbelt's core values of environmental preservation, and I will hold the line on forces seeking to urbanize Greenbelt."
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"Excessive development pressures on Greenbelt from surrounding areas, poorly planned urbanization, and deforestation, leading to a lower quality of life and an overall increase in homelessness and crime in our community. Greenbelt could be a model for the rest of Prince George's County, but instead we have been surrounded by sprawling development that fails to create and nurture a community spirit. We also need to revitalize the town center of Greenbelt through a local community effort that addresses the needs of Greenbelt residents in a sustainable way."
