Why should voters elect you?

"I have the experience, integrity and vision to deliver real leadership and results for Gaithersburg. I believe in bipartisanship, consensus-building, fiscal responsibility and accountability."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"Our two most urgent issues are development and public safety. Development needs to be tempered by smart growth principles that preserve the quality and value of our neighborhoods without overcrowding schools and roads. These principles also include investment in mass transit, preservation of open space and a comprehensive solution to the lack of affordable housing. Public safety means cracking down on street crime to protect residents and businesses, and giving law enforcement the resources they need. It also means increased pedestrian and motorist safety and the cultivation of a community that celebrates its diversity and works together to be safer."
