Why should voters elect you?
"I am committed and will build consensus with elected officials to target our most challenging problems. City residents will have a voice at my table."
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"Our city faces overcrowded schools due to too many irresponsible developers creating runaway growth. The developers need to be held accountable to building only in areas with adequate infrastructure and must contribute toward paying funds for creating or improving schools. The current growth policy allows for a moratorium on building only when schools reach capacity of 135 percent, which is completely unacceptable. New development must address the adequacy of public facilities and infrastructure and must be tied with the county's growth policy before construction can begin. We need to grow Gaithersburg smartly with a focus on new ideas."
