Why should voters elect you?
"I am the best-qualified candidate for the job because my experiences as a teacher, supervisor and manager exceed 37 years."
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"Overcrowding is the most urgent problem facing our public school system in Prince William County. Our schools are receiving about 1,700 extra students per year. This puts a heavy demand upon our resources and generates the building of more classroom trailers. Limited funding and a weakening housing tax complicates the issue further. The trailers engender health, safety and downtime issues. There is a need to reduce the class size to enhance children's learning and allow teachers to be more effective. Overspending and overstaffing are other issues. We need to streamline the management and keep the money in the classroom."
