"Our biggest challenges fall into several basic categories: 1. Continuing to address the achievement gap; 2. Improving accountability through better metrics and reporting on student achievement and operational activities; 3. Ensuring we have sufficient resources for worthwhile programs (like full-day kindergarten) and teacher salaries."
