Why should voters elect you?

"1. I am a parent with years of proven FCPS knowledge and experience. 2. I understand the issues and can resolve them for our district."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"Inadequate funding is the greatest challenge facing FCPS and the Springfield District. Revenue sources are limited. West Springfield High School needs a renovation, and a new middle school is needed to alleviate crowding in the southern portion of the county for district residents. FCPS must seek additional funding from the commonwealth and search for other means of funding through innovative means such as partnering with those in the private sector. Our school budget of $2.2 billion cannot adequately support our school system. If we want our students to learn and think globally, then FCPS must do the same."
