Why should voters elect you?

"Voters should elect me because I will set the agenda for the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors to build rail. More trains, less traffic!"

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"Transportation: A two-hour commute to work negatively impacts the quality of life in Fairfax County. We must plan transit now for when after peak oil production is reached. Fairfax County needs commuter rail, light rail on the Beltway and a system of green space, hiking trails, walkways, bike lanes, parks and blueways that are safe and accessible for recreation as well as rail. Walkable, sustainable communities with cleaner air, cleaner water, less dependency on foreign oil. We need more trains, less traffic; we need more candidates on the ballot to advocate for rail and fiscally conservative, socially responsible policies."

What is your plan to address the traffic problems in Virginia?

Set an agenda to build rail.

Identify and use funds for engineering design of Rail projects.

Aggressively seek ways to implement the designs and community input.

Encourage more folks to run for office as rail candidates. We need more candidates, less apathy, so we can have More Trains, Less Traffic, fiscally conservative and socially responsible policies.

Do you think current policies governing growth & development in your area are too restrictive, not restrictive enough or just right?
