Why should voters elect you?

Proven leadership and integrity with more than eight years of service on the school board, including as chairman in 2006 and vice chairman in 2005.

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

Our greatest challenge is to help all our students reach their full potential and prepare for the global competition of the 21st century. In the era of high-stakes testing under No Child Left Behind, we may unfortunately tend to look at students as a part of a group rather than as individuals; yet we must not forget that each student is unique and needs our help to become successful. Our teachers should be provided with better training and tools to help guide each student to set his own goals and achieve them.

What is your plan to address the traffic problems in Virginia?

This is not a school board issue; however, we will share our school enrollment information with the other government agencies studying traffic and population patterns.

Do you think current policies governing growth & development in your area are too restrictive, not restrictive enough or just right?

not restrictive enough
