Why should voters elect you?

My experience in successfully representing Sterling Park parents and students prepares me to bring to fruition my proposed improvements to Guilford Elementary and Sully Elementary.

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

Continuing to improve the quality of our schools. We've made remarkable progress since 1999; however, we face rigorous requirements that oblige us to improve instruction if we are to remain 100 percent fully accredited academically. Demographic changes in my community make it imperative to continue hiring highly qualified teachers, and expand English as a Second Language classes. Building quality has been addressed at Park View, Sterling Middle School, Sterling, Guilford, Sully and Rolling Ridge elementary schools. We also have built Forest Grove. However, we need to meet remaining renovation needs for modern computer labs and libraries at Guilford and Sully.

What is your plan to address the traffic problems in Virginia?

Do you think current policies governing growth & development in your area are too restrictive, not restrictive enough or just right?
