Why should voters elect you?

"I will make sure the effort is made to include parents in all key decisions affecting their students in Fairfax County public schools."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"In the Sully District in Fairfax County, the lack of parental input into school policy decisions is the most urgent problem. This includes start times, boundaries, student safety, use of resources and overall community service. This exclusion of parental involvement is also contributing to the declining standards of learning test scores. The parents feel there is no one for them to turn to within the school system."

What is your plan to address the traffic problems in Virginia?

I will work with our state representatives to pass legislation that would enable high school parents to waive the requirement for a daily bus seat, to and from high school, for those students who drive themselves to school. In exchange, the students would get a significant reduction in their annual school parking fee. This will reduce the number of school buses on the road during morning rush hour.

Do you think current policies governing growth & development in your area are too restrictive, not restrictive enough or just right?

not restrictive enough
