Why should voters elect you?

"As citizen advocate and candidate recruiter, I seek to include others in operating an efficient government for the people."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"Maintaining a careful balance between open access to court records while ensuring the security of individuals' private personal information."

What is your plan to address the traffic problems in Virginia?

I have been a tireless advocate for Rail Now- More Trains Less Traffic. That is the main plank of the Independent Greens of Virginia's platform. In Fairfax we need to run rail to Ft. Belvoir to handle the massive movement of federal jobs out to that area. We also need to run light rail around the beltway for one-tenth the cost of the proposed deadly toll roads. We can connect the VRE in Manassas with light rail along Route 28 to the proposed Metro in Dulles – again for a fraction of the cost of more highways. If we plan now we can have it completed by the time the Metro extension is complete to Dulles Airport. Rail solutions are a positive and safe means of ending our dependence on fossil fuels. More roads will only yield more traffic. We need more trains, less traffic Vote Independent Green!

Do you think current policies governing growth & development in your area are too restrictive, not restrictive enough or just right?
