Why should voters elect you?
I am a strong advocate for public education, will always put the needs of our children first and will ensure equity at all schools.
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
We have worked hard to overcome many challenges in the Neabsco district over the past four years, such as ensuring all of our schools are fully accredited and passing the [standard of learning] examinations. We have increased the percentage of accredited schools from 33 to 100. We have implemented full-day kindergarten at all of our elementary schools. Over the next four years, we must work hard to ensure equity in all of our schools, reduce overcrowding, ensure our students are reading at or above grade level by the third grade and challenge our students to reach their fullest potential.
What is your plan to address the traffic problems in Virginia?
My focus as a School Board Member will be on providing the best education possible for all of our children.
Do you think current policies governing growth & development in your area are too restrictive, not restrictive enough or just right?
not restrictive enough
