Why should voters elect you?

"I am the candidate who will bring decision-making back to the community. The residents of Woodbridge need a representative, not a partisan politician."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"Revitalizing the Route 1 corridor and reinvesting money into the older neighborhoods (Marumsco). Bringing upscale economic development to increase the economy in the Woodbridge District. The revitalization of the Route 1 corridor will bring revenue back to the district and will help resolve the safety concerns that Woodbridge residents have. This is a priority; it is an urgent one that has been neglected too long. Supporting the school district so that teachers may receive competitive salaries, students and teachers have the resources to meet adequate yearly progress challenges, and the school district may keep up with their capital improvements."

What is your plan to address the traffic problems in Virginia?

I certainly do not claim to have the magic answer however; we need to get people out of cars; more roads are not the only solution. We must increase the public transportation within the district, and require developers to include sidewalks, and cross walks when building neighborhoods; As for statewide traffic problems, we need to exstend the metro all the way to Quantico, and continue with the extention of the HOV through Fredericksburg.

Obtaining a solution to traffic issues will take open communication between local officials and our State legislators. We must work together for the common good of the people of Virginia and not for the good of partisan politaics.

Do you think current policies governing growth & development in your area are too restrictive, not restrictive enough or just right?

not restrictive enough
