Why should voters elect you?
I want to put the educational needs of all children first from Day One when elected. I believe that education is the great equalizer.
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
The recurring low performance of our students is a major concern of mine. Last year, according to the latest data from Education Week, only 67 percent of our high school students graduated. If this trend continues, more and more of our students will find their way into the juvenile system. This is a crisis that cannot continue without a positive response.
