Why should voters elect you?
Our current supervisor has ignored the Blue Ridge District in favor of his own agenda. I will represent the interests and concerns of western Loudoun.
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
The Blue Ridge District deserves a supervisor who will faithfully represent the interests and concerns of western Loudoun. We desperately need another high school; our youth sports and our recreation programs are being neglected; and our towns, villages, and communities get no support from the county. Our taxes are high, our debt is rising and our spending is increasing.
What is your plan to address the traffic problems in Virginia?
The roads in northern Virginia belong to the state. It is the state's responsibility to fund transportation projects, not the over-taxed people of northern Virginia. The pennies we receive back for the tax dollars we send to Richmond is an unequitable return. We need to insist on fairer treatment from Richmond and we need to pursue workable transportation solutions that preserve the rural nature of western Loudoun.
Do you think current policies governing growth & development in your area are too restrictive, not restrictive enough or just right?
