Why should voters elect you?
"My extensive experience uniquely qualifies me for a leadership role in our community representing the citizens of Fairfax County as an elected School Board member."
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"The most urgent problem facing our community is the influx of gang activity in our neighborhoods. As a probation counselor at the Juvenile Detention Center, I see firsthand the destructive impact of gang involvement in our schools and on families. The shootings in Fairfax County on May 8, 2006, which killed Detective Vicky Armel and master police Officer Michael Garbarino, and the April 16 shooting at Virginia Tech, which claimed the lives of 33 students and faculty, including the shooter, highlight institutional deficiencies that still exist in our schools with regard to the mental health issues affecting our students."
What is your plan to address the traffic problems in Virginia?
