Why should voters elect you?
My 24-year record prosecuting with Bob Horan demonstrates that I have the experience, ability and integrity to protect the people of Fairfax County.
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
Crime remains a problem in our society. Last year, the crime rate in Fairfax County dropped to a 32-year low. Of the 50 most populous jurisdictions in the nation, we enjoy the lowest crime rate. While Fairfax County remains a safe place to live and work, we still face challenges. Violent crime, Internet predators, gangs, domestic violence, drunken driving and other serious crimes will be aggressively prosecuted under my leadership. In addition, I'll work with the Code Enforcement Strike Force to preserve the quality of life in our neighborhoods.
What is your plan to address the traffic problems in Virginia?
My job is to help keep the roads safe. My role with respect to traffic problems would be to aggressively prosecute drunk drivers and those who endanger the lives of others. I leave it to the legislative branch of our Commonwealth to improve the traffic problems.
Do you think current policies governing growth & development in your area are too restrictive, not restrictive enough or just right?
