Why should voters elect you?

"I have a proven record of public service, experience, integrity and working hard for the citizens of Loudoun County."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"Growth, transportation and integrity! At a time when we can least afford it, we should not continue the approval of residential rezonings and packing density in the east and in the west as continues to be done by the Republican majority. Uncontrolled growth brings with it higher taxes and more congested roads! Even worse yet, there has been a disregard of integrity in the public process with many of these Republicans taking thousands of dollars for their campaigns while the developers are before the county seeking approval for more houses!"

What is your plan to address the traffic problems in Virginia?

1. I will continue my support for Metro Rail to Loudoun!

2. I will vote no on Comprehensive Plan Amendments and rezonings that add more traffic to our roads by adding more houses! It does not make since to continue adding that which causes the problem in the first place.

3. I am looking at a similar public / private process to complete Rt. 7, Rt. 50 and Rt. 606 that we have used to successfully improve Rt. 28.

4. Look at implementing transportation impact fees so all new unites constructed help pay for road improvements.

5. I will continue to work with my regional counterparts on the Northern Virginia Transportation Authority to implement solutions to the regions transportation crisis.

6. I will continue to insist that Richmond live up to its transportation responsibility and return more transportation money to our county.

Do you think current policies governing growth & development in your area are too restrictive, not restrictive enough or just right?

not restrictive enough
