I will continue to work as hard as I can to improve the public safety in Fairfax County.
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
The current influx of illegal aliens in the criminal justice system is placing an enormous burden on our provision of services. Currently, 17 percent of prisoners booked into the detention center are illegal aliens. We are working with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to identify those in our community that have violated state or local law for deportation.
