Why should voters elect you?

I've dedicated my life's work to fighting for the public interest, and I'm willing to stand up in the U.S. Congress to do what's right.

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

Our continued funding of the Iraq war places us in an economic crisis. Thousands of working families in our district are facing foreclosure. Our health-care system is in jeopardy while drug companies write the laws and insurance companies block access to quality, affordable health care - even our local hospital is under threat. And, while oil companies get tax breaks, consumers pay more at the pump and we still lack real commitment to mass transportation and alternative energy. We need leaders who are willing to take on these special interests to fight for the people of our district.
