What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
Our security. In this time of both opportunity and danger. I will continue to work for expanded federal action to: 1. protect our community against drug-related crime, violence and the terrorist threat while fighting for the protection of our fundamental civil rights and liberties; 2. provide universal access to high-quality health care; 3. ensure a quality education, good jobs, affordable housing and dependable public transportation for all our people; 4. protect our environment; and 5. ensure that the vote of every citizen is counted.
