Why should voters elect you?

Lack of leadership has held us back. With my proven record as prosecutor, advocate for reform and consensus builder, I can lead us forward.

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

For too long, the Bush administration and the Republicans in Congress have pursued politics that benefit the wealthy special interests at the expense of working families. For the first time in generations, there is great apprehension over whether our children and grandchildren will see a brighter future. America clearly needs a change in direction with a government that puts families first. We can no longer mortgage the future on ill-conceived wars and tax breaks for the rich while ignoring health-care reform, retirement security, energy independence and environmental conservation.
