Why should voters elect you?
I am ready to do the job! My experience as a small-business owner and mayor have prepared me to make the right choices.
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
Traffic: Residents and businesses spend more time and money on commuting to out-of-county destinations. Few mass-transit options get funding, and lack of funding for highway projects slows the completion of important projects. When elected, I will work to support predictable funding streams, mass-transit options on the Interstate 270 corridor and create incentives for a biofuels refinery in Western Maryland to provide alternative fuel options, create jobs and build the economy. I will sponsor an annual Regional Transportation Summit to coordinate projects that cross state lines and prioritize local needs. We must solve our transportation problems in order to grow our economy.
