Why should voters elect you?
Career politicians focus on partisan politics ignoring what's important to constituents. My experience building teams, encouraging cooperation, making tough decisions and setting goals to achieve results is what is needed in Congress.
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
These issues, although individual in nature, impact each other and quality of life for residents of the 6th District: land preservation, agricultural preservation, natural resources, infrastructure and access to public transportation. We must safeguard Social Security and Medicare, adopt a workable energy policy, reform immigration, bring about an orderly end to our involvement in Iraq, streamline the health-care system and put in place sound fiscal policies to reduce the deficit and eliminate funding of unnecessary government programs. We must stop playing politics and economics with people's lives and ensure that future generations are not burdened by this generation's unbridled spending.
