Why should voters elect you?
"I have over 20 years of public policy experience at the state and federal level."
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"Funding for the Purple Line and the impact on transportation and infrastructure due to the base realignment [BRAC] relocation of Walter Reed to Bethesda Naval Medical Center. Another concern is the United States spending over 19 percent of its GDP on health care; we must address the health-care crisis in this country. The third concern I see is the 29 percent low approval rating of Congress. Congress should work at improving the democratic process by creating an independent ethics committee and ending congressional earmarks. Congress must make the process more accountable to the American people."
