Why should voters elect you?

My record as a public interest lawyer defending citizens and a fraud-fighter is open. I represent everything Steny Hoyer is not.

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

Of the problems confronting America in 2008, just two threaten to push us toward a national decline from which we cannot recover: uncontrolled immigration and pork-controlled politics. No Western democracy can protect its standard of living, or liberty under the law, if illegal immigration makes it a 'colony of the world.' No republic can long resist the threats of oligarchy and civic strife if its tax and spending powers are diverted into special interest patronage and pork. The fortunes of Southern Maryland depend on protecting our national interest. We can't buy national security or clean government with earmarks or amnesty.
