I am the candidate who can take a leading role in Congress in solving 21st-century problems with advanced technologies and classic American ideals.
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
The increase in the cost of living due to energy (electricity, natural gas, fuel oil, motor fuel) costs and tax increases is the most urgent problem facing my district. Government, at all levels, has been increasing taxes greater than the cost of living. Energy costs are increasing greater than income is increasing due to lack of power generation capability and low domestic oil production. Maryland residents need a stable, sane government fiscal policy and robust energy infrastructure to promote a growing, prosperous economy. I support reforming and simplifying the federal tax structure and promoting advanced energy production technologies.
