Why should voters elect you?
I am hardworking and hands-on in approaches to solving large issues and addressing individuals' worries. I can lead the 6th in energy, agriculture and industry.
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
Though this is a geographically diverse area, stretching from Garrett County to Harford County (Baltimore region), it appears that all residents, farms and businesses are hit hard by energy and fuel costs. The entire 2,000-acre East Alco plant in Frederick was forced to shut down because of energy costs. Sustainable family farms are hard to work in this largely agricultural district because of fuel- and energy-related costs. Renewable energy, locally produced and with strong federal incentives to produce much more, is vital to this area, and energy cooperatives may be part of the solution.
