Why should voters elect you?
My experience with government, business and education will make me an effective representative of all the people of the 1st District.
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
I believe the biggest and most immediate challenge to the 1st District is environmental. From dead zones in the bay to global warming, we have to take action now to address these issues. Also, over the last six years we have seen an unprecedented attack on our rights as citizens, from illegal wiretaps to imprisonment of American citizens without a warrant, and that must end. While those are the critical issues, we must not forget about Americans who are struggling with stagnant wages, expensive or no health care and an economy that seems to become more challenging every day.
